Any formulas for converting the elevation and azimuth to use with a dish 500. Thanks.

Set the skew to 0, and the elevation and azimuth should be very close to what they are for a dish 300. At least, they were in my case. You'll need to do some fine tuning, but you need to do that anyway. :)

Wouldn't one of the lnbf's be focused more on one side of the dish rather than in the center? It should still be very close. Perhaps if someone did align it set a 0 azimuth and there is a difference in the elevation number then someone could post that number and then everyone would know the difference in elevation it would be.

Jacob S if the SKEW is set to zero the elevation is the same as a Dish 300 the AZIMUTH will be off slightly depending on whether the 119 or 110 is used for mounting the LNBF. It will be close enough to lock onto the satellite then fine tune for max signal.

OK, that is good. That suggests it may be 1 degree or less difference.
