Where's gol tv..thought it was coming on today
Channel 407, was added about two hours ago on my 508.

Yep it's up, I don't know when it was added but I noticed it about a half an hour ago.
No English audio on the current program. Also, it looks like Spanish will be the primary audio on this channel. Maybe they will correct that.

I could've sworn they said during the Charlie chat, that it would be in English on 402, and you could change it to Spanish. Then again, they could've said that during one of the times I dozed off during the chat. ;)

It is channel 407 and there is no English on the 4DTV feed either. They keep putting up the English on SAP logo, but it ain't there.

GOL TV is currently available in DISH Network's Spanish-language DISH Latino programming packages in Spanish, and it will now be available in English in America's Top 150 package. GOL TV in America's Top 150 will also be available in Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) in Spanish.
"English-speaking soccer fans will now get the opportunity to watch GOL TV's extensive soccer line-up in either English or Spanish audio," said Michael Schwimmer, senior vice president of Programming at EchoStar.

Currently GolTV is being mirrored for both Dish Latino and AT150. There is only the one channel being uplinked. I was always under the impression that when GolTV adds their SAP (they were supposed to on June 1) the primary would still be in Spanish, but the "alternate" or "other" alternate track would have whatever English SAP GolTV sends. Remeber that this channel is a Spanish Language channel. They have no plans to change that.

Tony if thats the case..why dont at150 customers have access to goltv at both locations?
Channel 407 is programmed to give you a selection of which audio feed you want. The ones in DISH Latino are programmed for Spanish only.
The problem seems to be the English audio is not making it there.

Not sure why I did it, but I made the mistake of emailing Dish about this, and included the quotes I used in my post above. And their reply? Nothing, except to tell me to call them. What a joke, what's the point of emailing them, only to have them tell you to call. DBStalk rocks, and will be the only place I ask questions about Dish.
Why dont you email charlie?

GOLTV definitely has English audio available. Now if DISH will put it up so we can hear it instead of the Spanish.

Couldn't tell you. But just like NBA TV which is available to AEP customers at 405 but NOT channel 560, there is only one GolTV channel mapped to two channel numbers.
What about Toon Disney...Hmmm, I'm curious. Can AT100 subs see the Toon Disney channel in the 800 block?

Yes, I have AT150 and I get Toon Disney in the 800s.

As far as Toon Disney is concerned AT100/AT150 makes no difference. Had it on 847 with AT100. Have it on 847 now with AT150
Is anybody getting English audio on 407 GOLTV? There is English as well as Spanish on 4DTV for the current game.
BTW: GOOOOOOOOOL sounds the same in either language. :)

This works on both 853 and 407. Idiotic.
What in heaven's name are they thinking!
So all the people with Dish latino and the alternate audio set to Spanish for the movie channels with spanish SAP now have to reset the audio to English to get the channel in spanish?
And all the AT subs who want to hear this channel in Enlish have to reset the audio setting every time so as to not get all the movie channels and several other channels in Spanish later.

That makes as much sense as TVJapan having the English Track on Japanese and vice versa. It makes me wish that I had an "Audio" button on my receiver.

Tony wouldn't be simpler to make english the main channel since all the spanish subs have there audio set to spanish allready..I know this primarily a spanish channel.. just a thought

That would make more sense. But there are some DL subs like me that despise dubbed programming (to any language). But short of relabling the SAP channels, that would make much more sense.

It would make sense to have the English as the main channel on Channel 407. They could still make Spanish the only selection on Channel 853.
As the system appears to be programmed 632 and 853 should get Spanish only and 407 should get Spanish as the main and English as the alternate. If they swapped the audio PIDs on 407 they would have it correct.
TVJapan unlike GOLTV works correctly as it is, since Japaneze is the primary language there and I can leave my audio setting on Japanese with no problems on other channels.
Interesting, the 721 seems to be okay on 407 if I leave the audio set to Japanese. :)
Of course the 301 ain't right that way.
Just tried it here and it is confusing..Toon Disney is english on both channels right now..can't be changed..
Sounds like they fixed 407. Get English as the main now.

407 is in English and shows up in AT150, although the commercials are still in Espanol.
853 is not available to AT150 subscribers.

Channels 859 and 632 are ONLY in Spanish.
If your Alternate Audio settings are set to Spanish, channel 407 will be in Spanish as well.
