Have an HR20 and want to know how to set up secondary off air locals. When I go to setup>sat/ant it only asks me to input the zip code for my primary off air channels. I live in Cincinnati but can also recieve channels out of Dayton and would like to have them in the guide along with my primary locals.

After you enter your primary zip code, you will be able to enter a secondary zip code on the following screen.

Have you run through the OTA setup yet? I think it asks for the secondary after you run through the primary setup. At least that's how I remember it from the last time I ran my OTA setup.

I haven't run through that yet, was hoping I could just skip the primary setup since I already receive primary locals thru D*

If you have your primary locals through DirecTV (and you don't want them OTA as well) then just enter the Dayton zip code as your primary zip code.

No, OTA setup is independent of satellite setup.

No. That screen only tells which locals to display in the guide. In your case, you could use the Dayton OTA as your primary and then another city if close, as the secondary. Then you'll have three sets of locals in the guide, one from DiurecTV and two via OTA.

Yeah you have to enter your primary zip and then it asks if you want to use a 2ndary zip as well. Should work fine. I have dont it several times on my HR20-100.

but won't that affect my cincy locals?I would suggest you setup Cincy locals as primary then set the secondary. You might be surprised at what your missing on the Cincy locals.:) There is usually more available on OTA than D* offers.

Yeah any sub channels usually are not in the guide for D*. For me there is a 7-2, 26-2, and 26-3.
