I currently have an SWM8 and WB68 running, where the SWM8 is cascaded off of the WB68. Now, I plan to replace the WB68 with a 2nd SWM8. So, I must split the 4 incoming lines from my sidecar, thus giving 4 lines to each SWM8....as we as know. My question is this, Do I need any specific splitters to use in this application? If yes, which ones can I use?

You can use single port power pass or a full power passing splitter, it doesn't matter.

Just make sure they are in the 5-2150/2300 neighborhood.

These work great and are diode steered

I use the 4 way version of these in my setup

I also have used these, and without any problems whatsoever now for over 18 months...

If in the 5-2300 or so range, can I just pick some up at Lowe's or HD? Anyone have any experience with getting any at these stores and working fine?

I haven't used them, but if they are in spec, they should be OK.
