I currently have the old large dish--with the side car (at9)
I would like to upgrade to slim line..I have looked at the various ones solid signal offers. I think I need the AU9-SLB5-SWM-B-PWS

Looking for the one that is capable of SWM.
Have two hr20's and the location of one is only capable of have one wire.
What dish do I need and any other accesories?

AU9. You can plug & play since they are on the same pipe.

Then, according to your DMA you need the SL3S or SL5S. Not sure if you need 119 for you SD locals or anything else.

I would checkout eBay since SS's prices are high on this equipment. I do have an extra LNB for sale. PM me if interested.

WEll make sure that whomever you get the LNB from also includes the Power Inserter and a Splitter. Besides that you're good.

Check if your current dish has the monopoles [ support braces ] attached.

Can you put the pwr inserter in the house?
can I use the splitter the original dish cam with(zinwell 8x6)

Yes. It has to be in the house. It isn't weatherproof.

Nah, that's a legacy switch.

You'll need a SWS splitter. In your case either a SWS2 or SWS4 in case you have upgrade plans.

ok thanks for your help got all the info I need.
au9dish, sws4 splitter and good to go.
have two hr20's and planning to upgrad to another one.

to clarify will an h20 work with my plans to upgrade?

Yes, all H2x and HR2x will work with SWM. MAke sure that any H20 is on the latest software [ if it has been active no issues with that though ]

You can buy a SWM-8 and just leave the Sidecar dish installed.
