Using HDTV on DirecTV

I just bought a HDTV and am interested in getting the HD Direct TV channels. I know with my DirecTIVO I won't be able to view them or record them so this means a 2nd receiver. Is there a way to network them together so I can still use my TIVO but yet view HD channels when I want.
As well, is there an estimate on when the DirecTIVO for HDTV is coming out?

The HD DirecTIVO is supposed to be out in the 4th Quarter of 2003. Which Id suspect would be just in time for Christmas buying season.
