Several months back I read here that you could add or delete some things to the HD Absolute without having to change to a different programming package. Later I read that some folks had done that but in the process Dish switched them to a different program and it was virtually impossible to be switched back to the Absolute once you were taken off.

I want to add the CD music pkg. back to my service,(lost it when I switched to Absolute) but do not want to risk losing the Absolute if that is a possibility.

Has anyone that has Absolute added or deleted anything on their plan recently? If so what was your experience??

I don't know if you could do it unless music was an standalone AO. I will try to research it further.

I think dish used to offer the cd music channels for ala cart for 5 dollars per month.

That is the last price I heard also for the cd music channels and that you couldn't add the Sirius channels. This was quite a while ago though and as we all read here things tend to change.

it's still there to add, you shouldn't have to remove Absolute however.

You can add the Music CD channels for $5 a month.

To make sure its done properly go through the executive office.
