I'm thinking about getting Extra Innings in July when (hopefully) the price will go down for a half-season package. Before I sign up I'd like to find out which teams' games will be blacked out in my area (Buffalo, NY). Is there a web page where I can plug in my zip code and get this information?

Also, when I check directv.com for my local RSN information it says that I can receive Pirates games on FSN Pittsburgh if I subscribe to Premier, Lo Maximo, or Sports Pack (which I don't). If I decide to get EI will Pirates games be blacked out unless I add a Sports Pack as well?

Finally: any idea what the half-season price might be, and do I have to pay extra for games in HD (like with NFL Sunday Ticket Superfan)?

Yes, the games will be blacked out unless you get the Sports Pack. Buffalo is one of those markets claimed by multiple teams (NYM,NYY,CLE and PIT if I recall) so rather than give you all of those RSNs in your basic package, they make you pay for the extra ones.

In Harrisburg we are claimed by PHI, PIT, BAL and WAS. We get the O's and Nats games in our basic package but have to buy Sports Pack to get the Pirates. We have no access to the Phils games with any package other than the 40 games carried by one of the local OTA stations.

Have no idea what the half season price will be, but it has been consistent over the years with sports subscriptions that half season does not equal half price (usually it's a bit more). HD is included in the MLBEI, no extra charge.

Also there usually is a free preview after the All-Star break for 1 week, so look for it around July 16th.
