Mark Burnett probably never had to deal with this... but I believe the produers of Big Brother 2 had real world events interfere with the series conclusion.

Cabin Fever is a Irish reality show which premiered on June 3rd which has 10 contestants and 2 sailors sailing around Ireland. Or, at least that was the plan.

Yesterday evening, the two-masted schooner Cabin Fever I struck rocks Friday afternoon off Ireland's northwest coast. The cast and crew were rescued by a helicopter and lifeboat.

Producers are working on the "backup plan".
