Picture quality on Dish is getting worse every day.

Has anyone noticed how downright terrible the picture quality is getting on Dish? This evening I was watching KTLA and the picture is blurry with digital pixelation all over the place.

What is going on? This has got to be an effect of must carry. I hope it gets better after the spot beams go up.

I have as well. Today while watching Finding Forrester I noticed that the picture was extremely pixelated at times and that the entirety of the picture would flash to black momentarily(not like the old blackouts....faster).

I really hate this man because it is seriously pushing me in a direction that I have always said I didn't want to go....back to cable or to DTV.

I looked at cable again a few months back but at the time they were just about to make the switch to digital. I figured I'd wait a bit to see how it turned out. With the deals I've been getting lately for free installation, a free DirectTiVo, and 6 months free Showtime, DTV isn't looking too bad either. J

Just pray that the spot beam satellite makes it to it's rightful place FAST. I intend to drive up to the Cape to watch it go and cheer it on. Anyone else going that way by chance?
