WGN not blacked out for Saturday games during Fox's window?

Just happened to hit the record button this AM before I left the house for the Tribe-Cubs game on WGN. Came home and noticed that the game actually recorded and wasn't blacked out.....has WGN always been "open" and not blacked out on Fox Saturday's (1pm start) or was today a mistake...or was there no Fox exclusivity for the 1pm games?

WGN has always been open if they are scheduled to air a game at 1pm/noon central game. ONLY games on the RSNs get blacked out. The reason?!!! I'm not really sure but that's the way it always have been. It may also be a thing where WGN can only show a certain amount of games such as this during the season and in other situations games have to go to CSN Chicago.
