I am not interested in breaking copyright protection! I am only iinterested if anyone else is having the problem dvd recording Nascar racing! I have asked Directv and they say that they know of no changes recently. Sorry if I was misunderstood!

Folks have occasionally had problems with false-positives on the macrovision signal being sent to the DVD recorder. Reboot both devices (DVR and DVD recorder) and the problem should go away.
