Hi all --
I'm wondering if anyone knows if you can get Dish network locals and superstations without subscribing to any of the AT packages. I'm looking to get just my locals, the superstations, and CBS HDTV (which I currently have and qualify for). Is that possible? Do they charge extra for not having an AT package?
Just wondering

I believe the charge for not having one of the AT packages is $5/month. You can pay the $5/month and get anything else you want a la carte.

Yes you can, it could cost you $8.99 for that combo pack (if I am not mistaken)+ $5.00 access fee = $13.99 a month. Some local packages include UPN and/or WB.
I dont know whether they allow you to purchase the superstation package if it is available in your area but I imagine they do since they are not networks.

You can get supers unless a station in your DMS has requested blackouts then DISH does not sell that superstaion in your market.

Yes, that is what I have heard but it is rare for that to happen.
