I just moved into a new house that already has a 36" World Direct Dish mounted on the roof. I also just purchased a SWM builtin LNB.

I am wondering if I can just mount that LNB on the already mounted dish or do I need a new physical dish?

You can try but:
- ka/ku LNB are does not fit WD LNB are, you'll have to make a bracket.
- Might work for 101/99/103, not sure for 110/119
- No fine tune controls so hard to fine tune 103 / 99.

I don't think you should bother. I doubt you'll get the geometries to match. Easier to start with a new dish.

That's what it sounds like..

Probably easier.. Wonder if the mounting poles are atleast the same. Hate to have to remove and install the pole.

They aren't. WD is slightly smaller pipe. You can try to hack it but you'll need self tappers for sure to attach the head to the pipe once you do a rough alignment.
