My precious iPhone LOST!

Well this past Monday my iPhone must have slipped out of my da%$ holster, and is gone.
I filled out a police report, and asked ATT to track it and got no results.
Battery seems to have gone dead some time Tuesday AM.

Just needed to morn/cry in public.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This is one thing I'm worried about walking around with a $500 mac in my pocket. Either that or dropping it :(

Did it have the new 3.0 software? Was "Find my iPhone" enabled? That could have helped you.

Now you know why I only use free phones given by the carrier on sign up or renewal.

Too bad.. It's super slick... and narrows it down to a very small area that the phone could be in...

Sorry you lost it... I shattered mine a few months back, so I can relate... :grin:

I've heard of people taking out a "Personal Article Policy" on their iPhone through their insurance company... Something like 30-40 bucks a year... Not a bad idea IMO... I think I'm going to look into it...

I heard on the news today the 3GS was getting too hot, and the white one was turning yellow because of the heat. Of course take that with a grain of salt since I don't own one and it was the "news"!

Did you give the serial number to the police? If someone finds it and turns it in they can track it back to you that way.

AT & T said they would not trace without a subpoena!
