Discovery HD off the air on 61.5?

Hello. For some reason, I can't get in transponder 4 on 61.5. (Discovery HD Theater & HD Events). Now I can see the other "even" transponders on 61.5.

Is anyone else with a 6000 having a problem with this transponder?

Try pulling the smart card until the System Info screen appears, upon auto-reboot and acquiring signal, run the check switch test if those channels do not re-appear. This will tell you for sure if you are or are not receiving odd tp's from 61.5. If not you may have lost one side of your LNB or there may be a problem with your multi-switch and / or wiring from the LNB / dish.

I tried the smart card yank. It worked. I can now get Discovery HD again. Thanks. I didn't think that the 6000 would loose just a single transponder.

Most receivers suffer from memory leaks of one sort or another. Since the 6000 and legacy receivers do not have much memory to begin with, some sort of symptom will eventually pop up. Sometimes a SIM card pull simply locks up the 6000 requiring a power plug pull to reset it.
