Lets first say that I'm not new to UPS devices, I've had 3 of these since late 2006:

I was choosing between apc and a few other companies, when I found opti-ups had the best ratings, and apc had alot of bad ones. I ended up buying 3 of those, which was the best choice, since they are still going great (Although the batteries don't hold a charge beyond 15 minutes now).
I ended up later getting 2 of these:

These also have been really great.
Today I finally got 2 non optis. A couple cyberpowers, which I know are also great. One for the kitchen tv, and one fo my bedroom pc.

I really love how all diagnostics are on the lcd itself. I don't need to connect to the pcs at all.
