View Full Version : UNC-HD & UNC-KD now on DirecTV
DirecTV has added PBS affiliated UNC-HD (xx-1) and subchannel UNC-KD (xx-2) to LILs. The main channel is doing 1080i while the sub channel is 720p... I'm in the Virginia Beach-Norfolk Market...

UNC KD on .2 is in 480, check your resolution settings.

Only HD I'm getting from UNC-TV so far still is 2-2.

OTA 4-1 appears to be coming in as just 4 on DirecTV. With PBS kids coming in at 4-2 (same as OTA).
My daughter is happily watching Martha Speaks right now.

Greensboro NC , Asheville NC Willmington NCmarket is not showing carrying these yet
Greenville Washington New Bern NC, Raleigh Durham NC, Myrtle Beach SC, Norfolk New Port News Va are markets I have seen on Directv.com that has these channels

What channel would they be on when/if they get turned on in Charlotte? Sorry, I'm fairly new to this area, I don't think I've watched PBS since I moved here.

thanks for the info.we have channel 2 wmar in baltimore it knocked it out for about 2 hrs.its ch 38 which maps to ch 2
