How are Samsung Receivers?

I just had two receivers delivered and installed by D* Both of them were Samsung Sir-S300 receivers. So far, they seem to be very nice, does anyone have long term experience with Samsung Receivers.

I used to have DirecTV years ago and had a Hughes "Silver" receiver. The new receivers seem to have a much quicker guide and hold more of it in memory. It also provides filtering and search features that were not available then. I don't know if the Samsung is that good or whether the field has advanced that quickly.

I install mostly the samsung receivers and just recently got into the 300w. I have seen very few problems with them. The Samsung high definition receivers (especially the sir-ts161) aren't all the best. I don't have a Samsung receiver personally, but like I said before I have seen few problems with them. The newer receivers will be faster just because of the newer technology. Keep me informed on how your experience goes with your new receivers!
