I just read in a channel chart from this website that The Movie Channel HD was added on March 11. I recently upgraded to Classic Gold + HD and don't have this channel in HD. Should I or did this ever get added like it was supposed to?

I have classic gold/HD and TMC-E Is active on channel 9481.

Is this another case that DISH did not activate a channel on all receivers who are suppose to get a channel; but did not? This was an issue with BET HD and a couple other channels a few months back. I have everything short of America's Everything Pack (only premiums are Encore HD, all the Encore Channels and a couple TMC SD channels), plus HD Platinum. and the only Movie Channels showing up are TMC-W (SD) and TMCX-W (on 329 and 330 respectively). I was under the impression that TMC-E HD was only available to Movie Channels subscribers.

Ever since DISH network went with Silver, Gold and Platinum to identify their standard and HD services there has been confusion on keeping these packages straight. So much so, that even the engineers who turn on programming are as confused as DISH Network customers.

So, if I am suppose to receive TMC-E HD, how do I access the online chat to get this taken care of?

Online chats are under your account section found on DishNetwork.com/

I just spent some time chatting with Technical Support. According to them (and they verified this), the only way you can receive TMC-HD is either through the Showtime package or America's Everything Pack. How HarveyLA is getting the channels may be a "software glitch".

Yeah, he shouldn't be getting it. He may have Showtime and not realize...?

The TMC West is a part of AEP and not Showtime premium, I think the confusion is because of this.

Nope. TMC-West is on the Classic Gold 250. However, unlike Encore-West, the East HD feed is not available for TMC-W.

I do have Showtime, which explains it in my case

I've got Classic 250 and I don't get TMCHD anything. You have to subscribe to either to AEP or Showtime.
