Duplicate Song Finder

So through a few mishaps, I have ended up with duplicate mp3's of about half of my songs. The main problem is that the duplicate files are also mixed in with unique songs, and the filenames are just random numbers. Also, none of these files have ID3 tags of any kind. So my conundrum is to sort through all of those songs and find the ones that are duplicates of songs I already have. I know there are tons of programs out there to find duplicate files based on the actual files rather than just filename and tags. I was just wondering if any of you have used any of them and can make any recommendations. I'd really hate to get one that works poorly or improperly and lose a bunch of my music or end up with more work after doing so. Thanks in advance.

I've found that using any program to remove duplicates usually leads to a loss of more then what you want. My best tip would be to just set aside some time and start going through them. I can't recommend any because as I've lost too much other stuff based on each programs different way of finding them.

I don't use it that much, but if you have iTunes, it'll show the duplicate songs for you...and then you can just remove them from your playlist (but not from your computer if you'd like)

Itunes uses the ID tags from the file, not the filename, to the op I don't know of any but will be following because I probably have about 3gb of duplicates myself. (Numerous addons from multiple backup disks converged to 1 hard drive 30 mp3 cds then to dvds then to harddrives)
