ESATA cable hook up

Need some help seagate extreme 1TB drive and link depot esata L-L plugs sata 2 cable cant get it to plug in to the back of the drive it has a metal clip on it. I cant get it to go in did I get the wrong cable or is there a trick. Thanks in advance

Sounds like you may have an internal SATA cable. What is the model number(or link) of the cable.

yep went to SC electronics and got the right cable
