Quick question about DHP and Moving.

Basically I'm in a situation where I'll be moving most likely to support a customer on site. In any case, If I understand correctly I should be able do the following.

1. To put the account on temporary hold as moving the takes a couple weeks by the time you pack and everything, and their is no time to watch TV. (There's a small fee for this I assume, and I also assume it extends out my contract which only has a couple months left.)
2. Then I should be able to take both dishes off of my current house and reaim them at the new location (where I should only need 1 dish since their is no local OTA service in Montgomery, AL).
3.DO I need to take both dishes with me? One of the dishes was on the house when we bought it. (Hence DISH does not own it.) The second one came with DHP, and take the second dish, and one of the LNB's from the first dish to the new location, since if the new owners of the house get dish, it will be free installation, and they'll put a new LNB in for free.
4. Is there a Free DISH mover program for DHP users? Even if I have to extend for a year, that's fine with me.
5. Besides locals, the only other thing on the 61.5 location are the public interest channels correct, so if I want any of those I still need the second dish, correct? Also if I want any of the HDTV programming from I would need 61.5.

thanks

You can use Dishmover if you are a DHP customer. I think they you have to sign up for CC Autopay and extend your contract for a year if you want it for free. Otherwise, its $75.

If you don't need HD and don't watch international or have Skyangel, you don't need 61.5.

Also I do not think you will be allowed to downgrade your service to the $5 seasonal fee because your contract requires you to stay with the agreed package you signed up for - for a year. After that year I do not know how they would handle the seasonal disconnect. They may make you mail the receivers back unless you will not have the service shut off long. Also I think they may come out and do the DishMover's for you just as angiodan said.
