I Live in Atlanta Braves Territory. They are not broadcasting locally on any Channels (SportSouth, FSN South, or Peachtree Television). I am seeing tonight's game on ESPN. I'm not complaining because I'm glad I'm getting to see the game on ESPN. But For The Life Of Me I Cannot understand WHY other times I am blacked out from ESPN Telecasts. I just don't understand these blackout rules MLB Sets. It's almost as if they can just flip a switch and black us out from games any old time that they decide to do so. Why Can't Bud Selig just announce that All MLB Games will start being blackout free? Tonight I am able to receive the game. So WHY does MLB take such a a hard line stand on blackouts? Am I just getting this game tonight out of the goodness of MLB's Heart? Is Tonight's Telecast available to me because Atlanta is not broadcasting Locally? Anyother time it seems like I *Would* be Blacked Out.

a team is allow to coexist 3 times in a given season. so that mean a team can have there game shown both on espn and there local tv station 3 times in a given season. this is only for Monday. the other times, the national feed must be blackout and also this is only on ESPN. ESPN2 games are blackout period.

Wednesday games are blackout period, unless one of the team is not TV the game locally.
