WHAT: DIRECTV, Inc. announced today that it will begin offering local broadcast channels via satellite in Tucson, Ariz. The local broadcast channel package is available to consumers in combination with any TOTAL CHOICE® programming package. The TOTAL CHOICE® PLUS with Local Channels package is available for $39.99, and offers more than 130 channels.

WHEN: Beginning tomorrow, the following local channels will be available to customers in the Tucson designated market area (DMA):

Tucson DMA New Local Channel Package

KFTU (TFT)/Channel 3

KVOA (NBC)/Channel 4

KUAT (PBS)/Channel 6

KGUN (ABC)/Channel 9

KMSB (FOX)/Channel 11

KOLD (CBS)/Channel 13

KTTU (UPN/PAX)/Channel 18

KWBA (WB)/Channel 58

Tucson local channels will be available through a single 18-by-20-inch Multi-Satellite dish. Customers can purchase a DIRECTV Multi-Satellite System at national retail locations such as Best Buy, Blockbuster and Circuit City.

Why am I receiving it on my small dish? Is this just an intro thing?

You can currently get it on the basic single dish right now but later on it will move and you will need the triple dish.
