Steve Perlman formally of WebTV
seems to be developing a new box
which integrates television, PVR,
the internet and games. It's very
hush hush but from what I read
sounds like the new box will be
very innovative. He's filed for 42
patents. One of the investors is
Echostar Communications. Could
there be a viable altenative to the
DishPlayer and Ultimate TV on the
horizon? Could not find any more
news on this new box after April
2001. Has anyone heard or have any
new info on this? If anyones
