Blu Ray and Subtitles

Anyone have a Blu Ray Player and are using the Subtitles? I have a Samsung BD-P1600 with subtitle problems and am ready to take it back.
I need the subtitles because of hearing problems.

There have been a number of posts at AVSForum.com which indicate that a number of Blu Ray movie titles do not display their subtitles properly.

The fix will have to come in the form of a firmware update for every manufacture.

You may want to go one or both of these sites to make sure you have the latest version of your firmware. If not, update it accordingly and try to keep it current.

It is not unusual for BD player manufacturers to update their firmware, 2,3, or more times a year, just to add in changes that were implemented by BD disk manufacturers/studios.
