Looks like the reason behind the new HD survey on their website. They want to know how much we would cough up to watch an HD version on their PPV.

No, this sounds like they want to carry more Broadcast Network HDTV a la CBS. I hope they pull it off. At this point any hope of watching non-CBS HDTV rests with me being able to pull in HD signals from Philly which is 50 miles away. New York is 45 miles away, but they STILL haven't built new towers for several of the networks since the WTC attack. I'm waiting for the 921 before I even attempt to install a roof antenna.

I agree, the way it reads to me sounds like the only thing they could be talking about in that headline is a deal or deals similar to the CBS deal but with NBC and or ABC. From the info I found from my own Chattanooga market the DT versions of are local Big 3 Nets are currently only broadcasting at less then 10kw while the analog versions are listed at over 100kw, until the power is up on the DT channels here I would not likely be able to receive my local DT channels ota even though I can get a clear picture ota on the analog versions of these channels. If E*can do a smiler deal to the CBS-HD deal, how many markets might qulify, 20-30 maby?

I'm pulling in all 8 of my Albuquerque OTA DTV stations just fine from 60 miles away with a 75-95% signal strength. Thank you Channel Master!

I know that Disney owns a lot of their ABC stations so a deal with ABC would be good: http://abclocal.go.com/
This list includes some pretty big markets. You'll notice that they really like Channel 7 and Channel 13.
