622 with SD

I have been given a 622. I only have a single satellite dish for SD. I do not plan to upgrade any time soon. Is there a way to bypass the search for the HD signal when the 622 boot up?

If you're talking satellite search then do a check switch and it will detect only the satellites you're pointing at.
If this IRD was used on another account it might still be set to that dish setup/
