about 4000 and IR remote...

I thought that 4000s use UHF remote only, and do not work with regular IR remotes?
Has the mod been done on it or someting?

Or some 4000s can use IR remotes without the mod?

You're right it is a UHF remote. Those older remotes all look the same sometimes.
