This one is for you guys (and gals). What do you think is the WORST cartoon ever?

I have one, but I need some time thinking about what it is. :D

Pick any "Harvey Toon". (Casper, Wendy, Baby Huey, etc)

From which era?

I think I saw the "Gary Coleman" animation on late-late-late night on Cartoon Network.

Although Ed, Edd, and Eddie makes me want to change the channel. Fast.

Captain Planet goes into the bad category also because of it's heavy handedness of a pro-enviromental agenda.

Dangaioh, as released by Manga Entertainment, is awful. Also from the Manga family is Tokyo Revelation and X: The Movie. (X: The Series is released through Pioneer, and is excellent.)

These are a couple of animations off the top of my head that scream, "Run away! Run quickly!" Only, X: The Movie is in my collection, and it was a cheap buy.

Personally, I like HarveyToons.

I guess that is how the cookie crumbles.

OK, My toon is kind of mixed. Rocky & Bullwinkle is good, but the animation kinda sucked. (Hecho En Mexico!)

Fighting Foodons or whatever that Fox show that had fighting food was he most godawful piece of dreck I have ever seen (my nine year old tried to watch it with me and I talked him into a Justice League episode off the PVR instead)

Even as a kid I hated the Hanna-Barbera shows (Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear , etc.) because they looked so cheap. The animated characters would generally be absolutely still except for mouth movements when talking. And when walking or running around the backgound elements appeared over & over because they were just drawn on a rotating drum.

The only show I can think of with close to the same limited animation was Clutch Cargo but the story elements were better & more original and the drawing was better.

Darn right! Even the FF commercials try to entice you to watch it, and it is BORING!

Banime! :D

The Total TV and Jay Ward cartoons animation is even worse! (Remeber, Hecho En Mexico!) BUT, They are great besides animation.

Now see I think the Hanna-Barbara ones are hillarious......TNG Tony I agree with you except for BabyHuey I thought that one was hillarious too....but my lists for the WORST cartoons are most if not all that are currently on Cartoon Network and Boomerang......I mean the newer commercials anymore are pretty much crap......though I have to admit Im not into sci-fi type ones......BTW Ed....Edd and Eddy is pretty much stupid as well.

I was raised on the Hanna Barbera stuff as a kid. From the early Huck and Yogi through the Superhero phase of the mid-60's ..After the early 70's the HB stuff wasnt quite as good IMO. Some of the earlier Cartoon Network originals such as Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Labratory and Powerpuff Girls arent too bad. I have been watching the Disney Teamo Supremo..sort of a Powerpuff Girls clone.Kind of cute in it's own way. I also enjoy the Warner Brothers toons and Most of the Jay Ward stuff..As far as Nick Toons Some of the writing is pretty good but I cant stand to see the cartoons..most of the chracters in the average nick toon look downright ugly
