LG BH 200 HD DVD/Blu Ray Combo Player finally BD-Live capable

Software update happened this morning making the player the first and only combo player to have BD-Live Capabilities.

Excellent - thanks for the update!

Now if only they could do a software update to give the player Instant Replay and 30-second SKIP ability. It's the lack of these features that has relegated my BH200 to the bedroom, with the Toshiba HD-A2 and Sony BD Player now back in the living room. I now watch more Blue than Red, and the Sony has Replay and SKIP...

I forgot to mention that you'll need at least a 1G USB Thumb Drive to take advantage of BD-Live.

Yikes! My BH 200 has apparently bit the dust!:( When I power it up, it never gets to the ready state - just displays "Please Wait", no matter how long I wait. It had worked fine two days ago.
Of course, it's out of warranty for labor - the warranty is for 90 days parts & labor, 1 year parts. I bought it on 9/17 last year. :mad:

Hi Dan. Know it's been 6months since you posted this, but I was looking for a firmware update to my LG BD 200 on the LG site, and found the same old one that is two years old, and zero info on what the update does?

Is the update you are talking about a non-LG build? I'd appreciate a link if you still have access to it ? thanks! john
