i would like to purchace this sports package for my dad on dish when the price comes out,this will be for christmas,does dish have a gift card i can give him at or near the start of the season.

You know... I don't know if they do offer such a gift card, but it's a good question... and a good idea.

It'd be a cool way for Dish to encourage purchase of these kinds of packages if someone could buy it easily as a gift for a friend or relative.

I like this idea too. This something they should really look into. You know how E* always wants to use that "free" comercial time they get from the channels to advertise Dish Network services to people that already have E* service? Well, if they had this they could run ads for something that exsisting customers would actually buy.

I would think you could contact ceo at echostar dot com and propose such a thing, they might just tell you how to do it.

i will call dish again and try to go up the ranks 1st line csr told me to go to radio shack and buy their gift card and dish would take it ,but i'm not sure about that.
