I've lost all 119 this morning, did a check switch at it confirms. I checked cable connections to the receiver and they are tight, 800-333-DISH is busy all the time, guess they are having problems. Is anyone else seeing this.
We are seeing 110 down but 119 is working still.
No sound on the East/West network feeds 241-248 on 119

My channels are OK now.
During the outage, I lost all my locals. All I saw for local was the notice that satellite coverage was lost. I believe the message indicated satellite 119 and spotbeam 9. The message only showed the channel, satellite, and spotbeam -- it didn't list the transponder.
I had video on the national channels (HBO, CNN, etc) but some channels had audio missing.
I first thought the problem might be related to the spotbeam that my locals were using. But since audio was impacted on other national channels, I suppose the problem was not limited to just this spotbeam.
From WeatherTrack.Com:
"Global meteorologists and NORAD have been tracking a large, gaseous, dark-brown cloud that is thought to have originated over Australia two weeks ago.The noxious air mass has been drifting with prevailing winds in a northeasterly direction at around 18,000 ft. Having recently passed over the western U.S., and based on computer weather modeling, the cloud should reach Canada by Monday and is expected to descend and stabilize over Montreal for several weeks as it rebuilds itself from the thermal inversion layer. Following the recharge, the monstrous cloud is expected to travel a steady easterly route to France where moist, humid conditions will cause the cloud to again stabilize until September."

Two words: Bovine Methane Assuming that this cloud is causing the outage, would that be called "Fart Fade"? If so, is it worse than the dreaded "Gecko Fade"?

No wonder Murdoch has been buying up all cattle herds in Austrailia. Satellite photos show an unusual alignment of the cows all to face away from Denver...

This happened to me a month ago. I lost 119 for about 2-3 hours and so did most of the people in the Philly viewing area.
Dish had no idea about the outage until enough people called and told them what was going on.
It was the first time that this has happened to me. We got 110 fine but zero signal on 119. It started with the picture pixelating and fading occasionally before it went to a blue screen.
When I called back after it was fixed to ask what the problem was they said it was a computer software problem. No where outside of the Philly area was affected though.
