Now, I haven't done ALL of my homework on every team but, I thought I would take a stab at this NFL season. Slightly long but please read. Bare with me:

AFC East

PATS 10-6
BILLS 9-7
FINS 9-7
JETS 8-8

Toughest division in the league. Pats D looks awesome and offense is adequate. Bills are improved but O will loose some explosiveness w/o Price. MIA is a 11-5 type team with another QB. Once Griese gets in, Fieldler will have cost them 1-2 games by then. Jets lost some players though grabbing a good one in Robertson. Can't get much more even than this division.

AFC North

PIT 10-6
CLE 8-8
BAL 7-9
CIN 5-11

Maddox is better than Stewart but nothing extraordinary. Pit D doesn't seem as formidable as before. Still solid, just not top 5. Cle has some question marks. Not quite there in many areas but definitely talented. Raven QB situation can't make many too psyched. Even the hideous 5-11 is a 3 game improvement for the Bengals.

AFC South

TEN 10-6
IND 9-7
JAX 8-8
HOU 4-12

Titans are best here again but need shouldn't advance far in the playoffs. Colts may just make or just miss the playoffs. DUngy tries with the D but I think it'll take another offseason for them to REALLY be very good on D. O is solid though James' injury HAS to be a worry. Jags have a great D but the offensive situation, especially Brunell, should keep them around .500. Houston still has a ways to go.

AFC West

KC 11-5
SD 9-7
OAK 9-7
DEN 5-11

Holmes' rehab is supposedly going well. Without him, KC's a 7-9 team. D made some good moves. Not top ten but better. SD should be somewhat better on O with Boston but the secondary is young. Oak will still be tough but should lose more close ones. Age is creeping up and they lost some key guys. Shaky QB and old WRs in Denver, with a below ave. D should make for a long year in Mile High.

Playoffs
Ten over SD
Buf over Pit
NE over Buf
KC over Ten
KC over NE

NFC East

PHI 10-6
NYG 9-7
WAS 7-9
DAL 6-10

Philly has lost a step. Secondary questions and no Douglas will weaken their D, though McNabb will still make them tough. G-men are weaker on the OL. They'll still be good on O but not like last year. DL is a question mark and the Hamilton situation could hurt them. Skins QB situation is nothing to write home about. Solid D and some talent on O but that's it. Dallas is NOT better than the rest. QBs are question marks and the OL, regardless of who was hurt, out of shape or unmotivated, isn't as good as it was. D is good but not much else.

NFC North

MIN 10-6
GB 10-6
Det 6-10
Chi 4-12

Vikes improved their once laughable secondary and have a good LB corps and overall respectable defense now. Offense is still top 2. Packers have weakened some. Farve is still Farve and the O is still top 10 but the D isn't. Plus, Farve has a knack for, as great as he is, playing to avoid injury. Being older now, we'll see if that's a factor. Lions have improved about 3 games. Harrington-Rogers should be something. Bears are hideous. Urlacher, Brown and not much else on D. Offense is a bottom dweller. Stewart?

NFC South

TB 11-5
ATL 10-6
NO 9-7
CAR 6-10

Bucs haven't lost much at all. Falcons should be more explosive on O but losing Ambrose in the secondary will hurt some. They'll give up a few points. Saints are good just unfortunately in a tough divison. THey could go 2-2 or 3-1 vs. the top two teams but struggle against the rest of their otherwise tough schedule. Panthers D is rough but the O is okay at best and Delhomme doesn't scare ANYBODY. Tough division.

NFC West

Sea 9-7
SF 8-8
Stl 6-10
Arz 4-12

Seahawks made some good moves in the draft and FA. SF should be team turmoil. Erickson shouldn't be the coach there and should probably struggle anyway. Rams will still have some O but lost both starting CBs and Warner and Faulk have injury questions. Cards have a chance at the #1 pick. Blake isn't horrible but needs some weapons. Very weak division.

Playoffs
MIN over GB
ATL over SEA
PHI over MIN
TB over ATL
TB over PHI

SB 38: TB over KC

Feedback please.
