Phillips Directivo DVR

I purchased a Phillips Directivo DVR model No. DSR708. I bought it at a garage sale. I am a E* customer and have no plans of changing but I bought this box cheap in hopes that I could sell it. I am just wondering what I need to do to find out if it is owned or leased and about what it might be worth. It is missing the access card, the little door that covers the access card, and the power cord. Any info you D* guys might have would be nice to know.

Back in the day they used to be worth something but your best bet would be to search on eBay for information regarding what it's worth.

Just based on a quick look on eBay they're worth about $30 or so if you can get someone to bid on it.

Pretty old. You might part it out, not much value there.

Well, I did not pay much at all for it so that is good.

Not worth much, I got around $50 for one on ebay awhile back but it was hacked as well.

You should be able to call in the RID to Directv to see its current status (leased/owned/any unpaid billing/etc.).
