Got this firmware version this morning at 227am.

New quicktunes feature (press up arrow, can enter in 9 favorite quicktune channels), the autotune I hope is now working better (mine, if you left it on any channel that uses that scorecard thingie, it would not autotune), there appears to be some sort of network funtionality (for an H23?) Not a DVR)...lots of new stuff apparently. Also, I DVR with my PC a lot with my s-video outs, so I leave it set to 4:3 since that's what the PC records s-video in - any HD sports channel with that scorecard red button function would not stay in 4:3 letterbox mode when tuned, it would automatically reset to 16:9 normal mode on those sports channels...no longer auto-resets.

Didn't see any sticky on it, just curious as to whether anyone else has seen it.

I got an H23NC-600 according to the box.

I also got the 0x42ee update on my H23-600 today at 2:25am. The network has been activated to use on your home network to stream movies, music, pics from your pc using WM11 just like the Xbox 360 does. If I'm guessing right from the reading I have done its just like on the DVR's...don't know since I've never owned one yet.
Oh this is what I was reading since I got the update to find out what I could do since the Ethernet port was active now.

It works...Now I don't have to use the 360 to stream my movies and stuff.

Tonight is going to be very interesting, getting this receiver networked. I got an open ethernet port on my switch, only need a 6 footer to link the DSS up - sweet! I was hoping that it would have that capability. Thanks for the info!

Now I just have to figure out if I have an alternative use for my 360 since I never game on it...

I noticed there's 1080p in the supported formats now also. My TV stated it's only receiving 1080i though when 1080i is selected only, so I have no idea whether it only outputs 1080p when it has that as what you're watching or not (DOD?)...but at least it's there now.

I'll check on this but I believe it's feature-identical to version 42EB for H21 receivers.

I just got update on H23-700 they changed it from 0x4086 to 0x42ee, now the screensaver tells you who is sanging the song and the name of the song on the music channels, IMO thats about the best thing they have done for the receiver yet.

This is the same as the 0x42EB release for H21. I've updated the notes, and am closing this thread.
