A security flaw has been discovered in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The flaw can allow hackers to run malicious code on your computer.
There will be a patch available by 7-31.
Meanwhile, don't open PDF files from unknown or untrusted sources.

Seems like there's been one of these show up every few weeks lately. I get the CERT bulletins and there have been bulletins around the middle of the last three months.

I wonder if we should be expecting another Microsoft alternative to be launched soon. ;)

This flaw was already being exploited on 21 July; an alert (not from Adobe - heaven forbid) came out for this on Wednesday the 22nd, but, as mentioned, there is no patch yet. People have figured out the Adobe is a good target as most PCs have Adobe Reader!
