H21 guide data

during the summer we do not receive the 119 due to leaves, however we apparently watch no channels that need this sat.
on our HR22, all the guide data is fine, though occassionally a pop up screen says "has not recieved guide data in 1 (or any) hours"
yet all the guide data is fine.
on the H21-200 though, there is no guide data at all.
if the HR22 has the data why not the H21?

Your HD DVR has two tuners. If one of them tunes a channel beamed from the 101º satellite every day or so, then you'll get all of the Guide Data. But the HD Receiver only has one tuner, so the chances of it tuning a 101º channel are less. You can help the situation by using an Autotune to set the Receiver to an SD channel late a night. But you'll still get "920" errors.

If you truly don't need any channels beamed from the 119º satellite, the best solution is to replace your 5-LNB SlimLine assembly with a 3-LNB assembly. You can get one from http://www.solidsignal.com
