I am one of the many thousands who purchased one of these last Black Friday weekend.

I have already done the update yesterday, and can confirm that the update and results are solid.

The Magnavox (Funai) units perform very, very well for a "budget" unit. Its our sencond Blu ray player in this household, but has been a reliable workhorse.

This firmware update is likely a "tweak" to address javacode updates and small bug fixes, but welcome nonetheless.
