Deal on triple LNB dish

I want to upgrade my regular dish to a triple LNB dish. I know now it will just give me NASA TV but I am looking towards going to HDTV shortly.
As well, anyone know of any special deals on HD Receivers? I want to get a HD DirecTIVO when they come out since I have a standard DirecTIVO now and hate to give that up. Yet I am looking for any specials deals I can find.

I saw a post over on DBS Forums that you can call into D* and get an upgrade to a 3-LNB Dish for 49.95 + 14.95 S&H. Installation included......Rumor has it that the new HD DirecTivo boxes will be out on the market by the end of summer.....Rumored MSRP is $799.

Better than that... if you are on the 'locals coming soon' list that will be needing the triple to get the locals.. they will GIVE you a Triple LNB dish and install for FREE (with an extension of your commitment to a year of TC or better) - (they will charge the $14.95 shipping.. but if you get the CSR laughing enough, she'll waive that :) :) :) ).

Another easy way to get the dish is to ask for the Customer Retention Dept. Tell them that you're looking at Dish and ask them what deals they have on the triple lnb dish. People over at Tivocommunity have done this and gotten a free dish... worth a shot.

Gus , you forgot one channel 402 univision . yes it is in spanish but the soaps on there are MORE than ours .

I hear that DirecTv has Charleston, WV listed as one of the cities they are going to add. Is it going to require the ParaTodos oval dish or just the regular 18 inch dish pointed at 101?

catman, Univision (402) and Galavision (404) are at 101, not 119. I got them with my old round dish.

I just scheduled and upgrade on Wednesday for FREE at least they said it was no cost to moi.
