Channel 612 FUEL is listed to be added 7/1 to DTV. Its listed on DTVs web site under PRINTABLE CHANNEL LINE UP(pdf).

Another shopping channel??? ANOTHER??? I would have thought that 7 shopping channels would be enough for one provider to carry. (I believe it's 7 isn't it?)

Geez...with all the compression going on, you'd think they'd just come to the conclusion that they don't need to add another shopping channel. I'm generally pleased with Directv, but this whole shopping channel thing eludes me.

I agree that the shopping channels are getting old in a hurry. Instead of adding a few channels here and there(ala cheap shopping channels), DTV needs to add even more channels and expand customer choice. The current offerings are not enough.

I'd like to find out who owns this new shopping channel. It wouldn't surprise me if it's being bundled with another group of channels and Directv is forced by contract to carry it. It wouldn't shock me if this is the case.

On DBSForums it was mentioned America's Store is owned by the same folks who own HSN, SciFi, USA Network.

I think it's called Casa Club TV, and it's already on 412. It looks like it's a Latino version of HGTV.

Well at least I can get a HIGH quality computer system off the TV that can't be bought in stores!

In NYC HSN used to be 68 and AS used to be 60, that was before 9/11, after that, they disappeared.

HSN and The Shop at Home Network offer the BEST damn systems to date in the WORLD! I'm typing on one now.
