My local FOX affiliate WTVW in Evansville is horrible today with the brripps. Is anyone else having trouble? Is it FOX or my local affiliate?

Same here. FOX Channel 23 WXXA out of Albany, NY. Happening on all my receivers. Other channels are OK. I have the BRRP's and sometimes it seems like delayed audio. I see the ball in the catcher's mitt then hear the pop. I am a new DirecTV subscriber and haven't disconnected the cable yet. The cable feed is fine.

I've been watching OTA on local channel 2.1 and it doesn't have a problem.

I've been watching on Fox 5 WNYW in NYC and have had 0 problems. This is an issue between local affiliates and DIRECTV ...

For those keeping score thinking that it's the box or a systemic DIRECTV problem, I think this thread is proof that the problem lies somewhere in the delivery and encoding/re-encoding of the local station's stream to DIRECTV - it's not a national issue, it's not a systemic problem with the receiver - it's a localized issue.

My suggestion is that users encountering the briippps find their city in the HD Locals Broadcast Issues forum (http://www.dbstalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=154) and then post their problem there. Do this even if you don't have HD, as this is a monitored forum and is more likely to get attention where it's needed - in that market for a specific station.

No audio issues here in PA, but our local Fox station (WPMT) has had pixelation issues for a month. So bad, I need to watch it OTA for a clean signal. Great 5-0 game!
