View Full Version : Anv Gift - Free Showtime Not In HD???

Hi All -
Received my free anniversierty gift over the weekend. It was a free year of Showtime.

I am not getting Sho East, Sho West or Sho 2 in HD. The other HD Showtime channels are coming in in HD.

Does anyone know if the free gift includes all channels in HD?

I attempted to call this morning but was on hold so I hung up.

Go online and resend authorization or reboot IRD. YOu should get all SHO's in HD.

For sure! I got my anniv. gift of SHOWTIME a few weeks back and it includes the HDs. Had to reboot to get them, but they're all there.

I had SHO a few weeks ago, but I didn't know about this stuff, so therefore they weren't all in HD. What does the IRD reboot do?

Dang, my anniversary gift last year was only for three months of Showtime. I guess 12 years wasn't enough to get a year free. :( Oh yeah, I didn't find out about it until one month had passed.

Sorry. I've only been a customer for 6 years. I have had showtime in the past for a couple of years but dropped it about 6 months ago because i lost interest in most of their original programming and did not watch too many movies on it. In addition I was a ST subscriber until this year as well. Dropped it because my wife has finally convinced me that its insane to pay $300 a year so I can watch the Lions loose. Next thing you know she will tell me i cant put down $20 on them to win the Superbowl when we are in Vegas in a few weeks (do this every year. Figure at 100-1 odds at some point it may pay off). Anyway, I guess DirecTv is hoping that I will sign up for some premiums again.

14 years and all I got was 3 PPV's.:(

Ditto - only 3 PPVs and I have had ST since 97.
