Anybody know the carraige terms for Gol TV. I heard its exclusive to Dish for 2 years. Someone also told me Dish got equity. Anybody heard differently? Would love to know what a new service like Gol TV, CSTV, or the Tennis Channel is getting paid these days. Thank you. -c

I just received this e-mail from GOLTV.

Thank you for contacting GolTV. Our channel has signed an exclusive contract for the satellite TV market with Dish Network, at least until the end of the year 2004. Therefore, we have no plans in the near future of being on DirecTV.

However, you can get our channel through Cable. Updated information is published in our website: www.goltv.tv

GolTV is also negotiating with cable companies throughout the country. If you wish to know what TV systems are available in you area, please check our website or contact us at our Call Center. We are available daily, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (ET).

For satellite, GolTV does have an exclusive w/ DISH. There are certain cable companies picking up the channel throughout the country. More info can be found at bigsoccer.com (business & media discussion) and soccertv.com.

If you are a fan of European footy (Italy & Spain), this channel is a must.
