Little Rock - Pine Bluff, AR locals will become available to Subscribers on July 2, 2003 (as per Retailer Charlie Chat announcement)

KARK was just purchased by Nexstar, I heard that they would be holding out.

Lets wait until it's uplinked - and then, i am sure, we will know :)

Pretty sure those are uplinked now (but not available to mere-mortals for now)

most are on 110, non spot beam tp 5
and couple at 148 (i think), tp 12 ...black screen is reported on those (for now)
i think uplinked 9 channels all together..
But not sure if all will go to subscribers on July 2nd (more likely - not)

Engineer at channel 11 said DirecTV should be turned on in Oct.. I guess its time to look for a vacation home in Mena.

They are available. Channels all look to be crystal clear. What is channels 9358?

That sounds right. No dish for me at 148 anyway, those stations suck.

For those with the LR, AR locals, how is the quality?

PQ is great. One little problem, there seems to be the occasional signal loss on locals only that causes the Acquiring Satellite Signal msg to come up for a second or two. This doesn't happen too often. I will give em a week to tweak it and then see.

If you're in Springdale, how are you getting the rocks locals?

I was curious how the PQ would be. The Fayetteville FOX and UPN is awful, nearly unwatchable PQ with terrible audio. I hope I don't loose my distant Fox and UPN when my locals become available.

Well I always wanted a reason to "move" to Mena. Great city, low crime, nice mountain views, and qualifies for LR and all distants.

Well from Springdale I can understand. I'll stay in Fayetteville. Maybe if I put a really big antenna on Mt. Sequoyah.

Springdale is heaven compared to LR, I'm so glad to be up here. I think I'm going to get a rooftop so I can get Tulsa and Springfield also.
