I currently have an old std definition DVR that feeds my Main TV and audio reciever via S-Video and also feeds into the rest of the TVs in my house via composite video and analog audio to a whole house multi channel modulator. If I upgrade to a Dish HD-DVR system and connect it to my main TV via HDMI, can I still feed my modulator system a composite video and analog audio signal from thr DVR for the other TVs in the house to use?
I have used several other HDMI sources in the past (DVD,Xbox, PC) and they all disallow the use of the composite video and analog audio when the HDMI is used.

All out puts are hot at the same time. So, you can use HDMI and composite at the same time.

I second that your proposed setup will work.

Thanks for the quick info! Only having HDMI would be fatal for me, but most folks would probably not have a problem.

Er, actually that's what the built in TV2 RF modulator is for.
