I'm currently watching the Jets-Rams game on NFLHD but I can't record it. I get a message saying the receiver isn't authorized to record the program. Is this standard for this channel???

Interesting...I get the same message. Never seen that before, but never really tried to until tonight. http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs20/f/2007/305/5/1/Grin_Glomp_by_Aurablade.gif

Its a miracle. Now I can record. My daughter's FIOS box was recording OK so it must have been a glitch in the D* system.

I got the same message when setting up a Saturday game to record, because at that time the channel was greyed out in the guide. Now it's lit up again.

It happened to me last night as well during the Jets game. In the future if it ever happens, you can set up a manual recording and that works fine. I did it last night.

I saw one of the games greyed out also (Thursday or Friday night), figured because it was also being shown on one of the local network channels (or DNS East in my case). Didn't try to record that one in particular, but didn't have any problems recording the Seahawks game Saturday night.

I don't know if this is related to the authorization issue several of us had on NHLN, but here is what happened Saturday. I scheduled the Bills vs Bears game to record on 212. Since I was home, I tried to start watching the recording and it was playing the Discovery channel.

I pressed <Info> and it showed 212 NFLN, but was recording the wrong program. I pressed <Exit> to exit the recording and typed in 212, still gave me the Discovery channel. Finally, I stopped the recording, again tried 212 and then the game appeared. It was strange.

Anyone else have a problem like this?

The fix I've seen for that issue is to reboot your receiver. For whatever reason, the signals get crossed what you think should be one channel takes you to something else.
