I want to buy a universal remote that mimics my DTV HD DVR remote but will also run my DVD/VRC combo as well as my Bell Express Vu reciever and surround sound, and also my TV of course. Please let me know which one you guys use, think I should use, think are the best bang for the buck and link if possible and some pros cons etc.. Thanks in advance for your help.

I use Harmony remotes. I use it to run my HR20-700, HD DVD, Yamaha receiver, and Samsung DLP television. Harmony just released a blue-tooth module for the PS3

I love the Harmony remotes. Easy to use and very customizable. If you want bang for the buck though, check out the URC (One-for-All) line at your local electronics store. Generally under $30 for some very powerful remotes.

Harmony 670 running a:

D* HR20-100
Toshiba DLP TV
Sony Home Theater
Panasonic DVD/VCR combo
antenna rotor
D* DirecTiVo (forget the model, but std def)

I programmed the R/G/B/Y buttons into the LCD. With the Harmonys programming is really easy.

It was a (requested) Father's Day gift about 2 years ago - the whole family loves it.
