Only if you feed a downconverted version of the digital channel to your analog television. That is, you output a 480i signal via svideo or composite from your digital set top box to your analog television. The picture will be letterboxed on your 4x3 display if the source is 16x9, or will be windowboxed on your 4x3 display if the source is 4x3.
